39 Reaper Squadron - the first Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron in the RAF, has received its Squadron Standard in a ceremony that took place on 23rd January at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada in the USA.
 

Air Recce - Military photo-reconnaissance (AirRecce) has come a very long way since its humble beginnings in the First World War. The main aim of this site is not to give the history of AirRecce, but show you some examples of the imagery taken.
 
Photo recce clearance shots - These images, at either end of the film proper, often show aircraft, airfield buildings and airmen at work, captured on film when the shutters of obliquely-mounted cameras in photographic reconnaissance (PR) aircraft were triggered several times to check that film was loaded and winding properly prior to a sortie, and to finish the film once the aircraft had returned.

Duxford Update - This excellent unofficial website gives a regularly updated snapshot of the museum's collection of aircraft and military vehicles, also a regular status check on the many privately owned warbirds and armoured vehicles resident at Duxford and on public display. Well worth a visit.
