The BEPA social
weekend was a great success and a big thank you must
go to Chris and Brenda Pettman for their efforts in
organising the weekends accommodation and events.
The Park Hotel turned out to be an excellent choice.
The staff made us most welcome, the size of the
hotel was ideal for our numbers, the facilities
excellent and the catering was most commendable in
meeting our needs. The flowers with grateful thanks
to
David Austin and beautifully arranged by Brenda
(please pass on my thanks) was the "icing on the
cake".
It is not easy to
keep a disparate group of ex-photogs in tow but
you managed it extremely well over the weekend,
most commendable.
I was therefore not
surprised that the vote the following day at the
meeting was for a return next year.........the
price of success.
